STUDIO PLAYGROUND: PRIVACY POLICY 

Generally.  This site is provided by Studio Playground, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization headquartered in Rhode Island with operations in Rhode Island and New York.  This Privacy Policy applies to any personal data or information provided by you, as parent/guardian, when you browse the Studio Playground website or via any phone/email correspondence, and to any media collected of your child(ren) during any classes or events hosted by Studio Playground.  We will not disclose this information to third parties without your consent or as required by law.

Personal Information.  Studio Playground will at times collect identifying and personal information (e.g., your name, address, email address, or other information which can be associated with you), that is provided by you, as parent/guardian, via our website or via phone/email correspondence.  Any information you provide may be used by Studio Playground to work with third parties who provide services on Studio Playground’s behalf.  If you provide medical information about your child(ren), including medical forms or waivers, Studio Playground will retain the information for any necessary medical purposes and will keep the information confidential unless required by law. 

 Payment Information.  If you commence making a payment using a credit/debit card via our website, we will not use your payment information for any other purpose other than to process the transaction.  The transaction will be completed via a third party website, which will only use your payment information for registration purposes.  If you are a donor and make a donation via our website, you will be redirected to a third party website and will be providing your

information to the third party website, which will only use your payment information to verify and process the donation.  We assume no liability for any unauthorized actions from these third party websites’ privacy practices, which may differ from our privacy policy.

 Media Storage.  Studio Playground may record and store media of class participants for learning and marketing purposes.  Media recorded and stored may include photographs, digital images, and audio/video recordings of class participants, and Studio Playground will own all rights to this media.  With your consent, Studio Playground may use the media for Studio Playground’s promotions, advertisements, publications, or social media and website usage.  Studio Playground will not share any of the media with third parties unless required by law.

 Minors.  Studio Playground does not intend to collect any data or information from children under 13 years of age.  Children under 13 years of age are not authorized to register for a class or make a donation without consent from a parent/guardian.
